Day 2: Terra Cotta Warriors Museum [In-depth Tour of Terra Cotta Warriors] -- Huaqing Palace

Morning: The Terra Cotta Warriors, a burial army formation accompanying the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, were discovered in 1974 and are hailed as the eighth wonder of the world.

Pit No.1 is the largest, with a neat formation of infantry soldiers, creating the most impressive atmosphere.

The No.2 pit is a collection of fine terracotta statues, including generals and kneeling archers, with the most complete range of military units.

The third pit is the smallest and serves as the command headquarters for the entire military formation.

The bronze chariot and horses were the imperial carriages of the First Emperor of Qin. They were cast in bronze with exquisite craftsmanship and were known as the "crown of bronze".

Afternoon: Huaqing Palace, a royal hot spring palace in the Tang Dynasty, is renowned for the love story between Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei. It is also the site where the Xi'an Incident took place.

The hot spring pool dedicated to the Emperor and Yang Guifei at the Tang Yutang site was where the "emperor granted Yang Guifei to bathe in Huaqing Pool during the spring cold" took place.

The former site of the Xi'an Incident is located in Wujian Hall, where bullet holes from that time still remain on the walls.

Day 3: Shaanxi History Museum -- Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Daci'en Temple)

Morning: The Shaanxi History Museum is a national-level museum that encapsulates the essence of cultural relics from thirteen dynasties including the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang dynasties.

The bronzes of the Western Zhou Dynasty, characterized by exquisite craftsmanship, primarily reflect the rituals and etiquettes of the Zhou Dynasty. The bronzes of the Qin and Han Dynasties, embodying the prosperity of unified dynasties, exhibit a grand and dignified style.

The essence of the Sui and Tang Dynasty collections, including Tang Dynasty tri-colored glazed pottery, gold and silverware, and murals, fully showcases the prosperity and splendor of the Tang Dynasty.

Crown jewels: gold-inlaid agate cup with animal heads, gilt silver kettle with dancing horse holding a cup, and Tang Dynasty three-color glazed pottery figurine of a camel carrying musicians

Afternoon: The Big Wild Goose Pagoda, located within the Dacien Temple, is a landmark in Xi'an.

It was built under the auspices of Xuanzang to store Buddhist scriptures and statues brought back from India.

The pagoda, a typical Tang Dynasty Buddhist tower, stands seven stories tall and is constructed with blue bricks. This is where Xuanzang translated and taught the Buddhist scriptures after his return from the pilgrimage to India, making it a sacred site for Buddhism.
