Day 2: Charming Chongqing: [Wulong → Tiansheng Three Bridges → Fairy Mountain]

1Wulong Tiansheng Three Bridges Scenic Area: The Tiansheng Three Bridges in Wulong are a core component of the Wulong Karst World Natural Heritage Site and the largest cluster of natural bridges in the world. The three natural stone bridges, Tianlong, Qinglong, and Heilong, span the Yangshui River Canyon, forming a rare geological wonder of "three bridges sandwiching two pits". The rebuilt Tianfu Posthouse under the bridges served as a filming location for the movie "Curse of the Golden Flower". The ancient posthouse with its grey walls and green tiles is hidden deep in the canyon, complementing the magnificent karst landscape. Strolling through it, one can truly feel the marvelous workmanship of millions of years of geological evolution.

[Xiannv Mountain] Xiannv Mountain National Forest Park is located atop a mountain in Wulong, at an altitude of 1900 meters, and is renowned as the "Little Switzerland of Chongqing". This place harbors a rare alpine grassland in the southern region, with forests, peculiar peaks, meadows, and snowfields constituting the "four wonders" of the scenic area. The average temperature in summer is only 24℃, and the negative oxygen ion content is abundant, making it a favorite summer resort for Chongqing people. In winter, it transforms into a rare snowfield in the southern region, where one can experience the joy of skiing. Herds of cattle and sheep wander on the soft meadows, exuding a leisurely mountain atmosphere everywhere.

Day 3: Deep Chongqing: [Wujiang Gallery → Chiyou Jiuli City → Night View of Zhuoshui Ancient Town]

[Wujiang Gallery] The "Hundred-Mile Gallery" section of Wujiang Gallery is concentrated in the Wujiang River basin from Pengshui to Youyang in Chongqing. The emerald green Wujiang River meanders through karst canyons, with steep cliffs on both sides and ancient trees and vines tangled among them. A poet from the Qing Dynasty once praised it as "the most magnificent scenery in Sichuan". Here, you can find both the grandeur of the Three Gorges and the beauty of the Lijiang River. Boating along the river, you can see scattered stilt houses in Miao villages and the stone-paved alleys of the thousand-year-old Gongtan Ancient Town. The scenery changes with the seasons, making it feel like you are traveling through a slowly unfolding ink painting.

【Chiyou Jiuli City】Chiyou Jiuli City is the largest Miao cultural theme scenic spot in the world, located amidst the mountains and rivers of Pengshui. It is a "Chinese Miao King City" built to commemorate the Miao ancestor Chiyou. More than 40 Miao-style buildings, such as the Nine Gates and Jiuli Palace, are scattered along the mountain, with their upturned eaves and arch of wooden architecture embodying the architectural wisdom of the Miao people. Here, you can not only see the display of Miao silver jewelry, batik, and other intangible cultural heritage skills, but also participate in Miao folk activities such as sacrifices, singing, and dancing. It is a good place to touch the roots of Miao culture.

[Night View of Zhuoshui Ancient Town] As night falls, the lights of Zhuoshui Ancient Town shine brightly. On the Apeng River, more than ten "Magpie Bridge Boats" are strung together like a golden dragon, winding and twisting on the water. The quaint wind and rain corridor bridges and the clusters of Tujia stilt houses are outlined clearly by the lights, reflecting on the sparkling waves, like a flowing golden scroll. When the intangible cultural heritage stunt "Iron Flower" comes on stage, thousands of golden threads pierce the night sky, sprinkling "stars" all over the sky, adding a gorgeous and shocking color to the night view of the ancient town.
